1. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways: (a) information you give us directly, (b) information collected automatically when you use the Service, and (c) information from third-party services.
(a) Information you give us
- Early-access opt-in form: full name, email address, and (optionally) your Metro Vancouver neighbourhood.
- Investor enquiry form: full name, email address, firm name (optional), investment range (optional), and any message you submit.
- Direct correspondence: any information you send us by email or other communications.
(b) Information collected automatically
- Server and request logs: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. These are generated by standard web infrastructure and used for security and diagnostics.
- Cookies and similar technologies: we use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Service and may use analytics/preference cookies as described below.
(c) Information from third parties
- Analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics): pseudonymous usage data such as page views, session duration, device/browser info, and approximate location derived from IP address.
- Advertising pixels (e.g. the Meta Pixel / Facebook Pixel and similar tools from advertising platforms): events such as page view, sign-up, and form submission, along with associated identifiers used to measure campaign effectiveness and to enable retargeting on those platforms.
- Email and infrastructure providers that help us deliver transactional email and host the Service.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The Service is not directed to children.
2. How we use your information
We process the information described above for these purposes:
- To provide the Service — respond to enquiries, send service updates, and contact you about early-access spots, pickup windows, and the promo you opted into.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service — diagnose technical issues, prevent abuse and spam, analyse aggregate usage, and improve the website experience.
- To communicate with investors who submit the investor enquiry form, including following up about partnership or funding discussions.
- For marketing and measurement — to send promotional emails (only where you have opted in), measure the effectiveness of our marketing, and show relevant ads on third-party platforms such as Meta and Google. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email.
- To comply with law — to meet legal, regulatory, and accounting obligations and to respond to lawful requests by public authorities.
Our legal bases for processing (where applicable) are your consent (e.g. marketing emails, non-essential cookies), performance of a contract or steps prior to entering one (e.g. responding to your enquiry), our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How long we keep your information
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed we delete or anonymise it.
5. How we protect your information
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, hosting on reputable infrastructure, and limiting access to personal data to staff and providers that need it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live (including under Canada's PIPEDA and British Columbia's PIPA, and the GDPR if applicable), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Request deletion of your personal information;
- Withdraw consent to processing (where based on consent);
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Request portability of information you provided to us;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner).
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 10. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
7. How to request deletion of your data
You can ask us to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. To submit a deletion request:
- Email admin@cleandigitalsolutions.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
- Include the email address you used when you contacted us so we can locate your record.
- We will confirm receipt, verify your request, and delete your personal information within 30 days. Some information may be retained in backups or where we are legally required to keep it; in those cases we will isolate it from further active use until it is purged in the ordinary course.
If you submitted your information through a third party such as Meta or Google, you can also request deletion directly with that platform under its own privacy controls.
9. International transfers
We are based in Canada. Some of our service providers are located in the United States and other jurisdictions. When we transfer personal information outside your country of residence, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
